So it was my birthday.......almost an hour ago. Isn't that sad? You wait all year long, and now it's gone, "POOF!", vanished, disappeared, out-of-sight, you get the point. But it was a really good birthday, despite the fact that I had FOUR MIDTERMS! Major freak out! But my twins and Kassie and all my friends made my day really special. Both twin brothers(I will have pictures...soon!) made an effort to wish me a Happy Birthday. One met me at school because he had to go, for they are leaving on a...a...cruise! So nice right about now. Anyway, the other one called me later, since he had had a dentist appointment, and couldn't tell me in person. Ain't that nice? Then at school, we played this white elephant game. It was great! Me and Kassie were like, "Ok, Jonathan, you have so got to get the live fish." No lie. Someone had brought in, as one of the gifts, a live goldfish. The fish got "stolen" by at least five people during the game, and finally my number 30 was called, and I snatched him away for myself. Thankfully, there were only 32 people, and the last two girls didn't want to keep the fish. Kassie and I rejoiced! We ended up naming him Spud, for secret reasons that cannot be shared...
For my b-day, I decided to go to The Melting Pot. Super good place! We had the cheese fondue, and then cooked our own entrees like duck and fillet mignon and shrimp. But the best part was the end. The chocolate! Oh, the wonderful swirl of white and dark chocolate. It was fantabulous! Especially with the designated "dippers": cheesecake, strawberries, bananas, pound cake, and marshmellows. On your next birthday, tell your parents you want to go to The Melting Pot. Great choice!
I'm on Facebook now! Score! The name's Jon Butler.
Well, I guess I'll turn in for tonight. I've got a show tomorrow(today) @ 10AM, plus another one @ 8PM. So yeah, better get some shuteye.
Till Next Time,
-JB
